Since its foundation by the Saputo company in 1993, the Montreal Impact has become, over the years, one of the most decorated teams in Quebec professional sports.

On the field, the team clinched a third championship last year, and also won the Nutrilite Canadian Championship in 2008 - which put Montreal on the international scene as the Impact reached the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League.

Off the field, the club’s attendances have never stopped increasing over the years, from 5,000 fans in 2002 to more than 12,000 last season. With outstanding performances on the field and an ever-increasing following, the Impact is more than ready to move on to the next level.

In 2012, Montreal will experience soccer like it never has before. The arrival of Major League Soccer in the city is nothing short of a revolution for soccer and for the Montreal and Quebec sports scene.
